World Bowling will use the pre-Aug. 1 United States Bowling Congress equipment specifications for the 2018 World Men’s Championships that will be held Nov. 23 through Dec. 5 in Hong Kong, then move to the current USBC specifications on Jan. 1, the World Bowling Technical Committee has recommended and the Executive Board has approved, pending adoption or rejection by the 2019 World Bowling Congress and/or further committee action.
