Two-time champion Tom Hess led Saturday’s qualifying with 1,659 for seven games and 1,398 made the cut at the Greater Iowa Bowling Association Ebonite Winter Classic (formerly the Fusion Open) at Cadillac Lanes in Waterloo, Iowa.
