USBC is taking a fascinating gamble with entry fee increases for the Open Championships and Women’s Championships in 2022 it announced Thursday in this news release. The increases are the first for the Open Championships since 2013 and first for the Women's Championships since 2014, so in that respect it’s hard to consider an increase out of line.
