First 16-team NCAA Women’s Bowling Championship starts Wednesday

The NCAA said in August 2019 that the NCAA Women’s Bowling Championship would increase to 16 teams in 2020, up from 12 in 2019, with a format closer to NCAA basketball featuring four regionals of four teams each and a "Final Four" national finals, as I detailed in this story. The tournament expanded from 10 to 12 teams for the 2019 tournament, as I detailed in this story.
