Monday’s final round of match play at the season-ending 2022 PWBA Tour Championship at All-Star Lanes in Dallas was all about the Shannons. Defending champion Shannon Pluhowsky celebrated her 40th birthday by going 6-2, firing a 300 and a 297 and totaling a tournament-high 2,058 block for her eight games to earn the top seed for Tuesday night’s stepladder finals with a 15-9 record, 232.75 average and 6,036 total, 224 pins ahead of Maria José Rodriguez.
