When Jason Belmonte won the United States Bowling Congress Masters for a third straight time last year, I wrote in this story that it might be the greatest/most amazing feat in bowling history Winning a “normal” PBA Tour event three times in a row is a difficult accomplishment, but it has been done, most notably by Earl Anthony on two occasions in the PBA National (now World) Championship and by Jason Couch in the PBA Tournament of Champions.
