The one clear thing about the 2017 United States Bowling Congress Convention and annual meeting is that it wasn’t going to be nearly as newsworthy or exciting as last year, when the delegates finally passed forced merger legislation and gave USBC permission to raise dues, as I detailed in this story. For a time Thursday morning, it appeared that 2017 might turn out to be momentous as well when USBC Executive Director Chad Murphy made a post on Facebook regarding new lane spec standards...
