Winning Eagles in consecutive years at the United States Bowling Congress Open Championships is difficult — there are only 14 Eagles per year and thousands of competitors — but not unheard of. In fact, there have been two players who won Eagles in three consecutive years: Hall of Famer Les Zikes in 1962, 1963 and 1964, and likely future Hall of Famer Anthony LaCaze in 2013, 2014 and 2015.
