There is no transparency for bowlers or consequences for centers from the new USBC tiered certification program announced Thursday afternoon at the USBC Convention Annual Meeting. USBC said in this news release that “These changes aim to provide greater clarity, reduce costs and streamline the inspection process for centers nationwide.” While the last two items may be true, bowlers will gain zero clarity from the program — unless centers choose to provide it to them....
