Tim Foy Jr. averaged 242.12 in Friday’s cashers round to soar into the lead at the 2026 U.S. Open at Royal Pin Woodland in Indianapolis, according to results posted here.
After qualifying, Foy was fifth at 5,208, 149 pins behind leader Michael Davidson.
But the 2-hander who is on the short list of best bowlers without a PBA Tour title, fired games of 289, 269, 233, 213, 247, 224, 203 and 259 for a 1,937 total that was the biggest block of the tournament.
