PWBA Tour champion Josie Barnes blasted a 2,256 all-events total Sunday and Monday to take the lead at the 2026 USBC Open Championships, putting herself in position to become the first women to win that prestigious Eagle. The only women to win Eagles are Wendy MacPherson in singles with 806 in 2006 and Brenda Edwards (now Padilla) in doubles with future husband Stephen Padilla with a then-record of 1,566 in 2009.
