Dominating in match play with a 14-2 record, Team USA member Shannon Pluhowsky earned the top seed for Friday’s stepladder finals of the Bowling Proprietors' Association of America Women's All-Star Tournament, the United States Bowling Congress reported. The 31-year-old lefty averaged 218.5 in her 16 games of match play Thursday at Cherry Bowl in Rockford, Illinois, rising from third place after qualifying to the top seed with a 7,713 total.
