Schwoegler’s Sugar River Lanes announced that it is hosting a youth summer league on a USBC Blue pattern.
The 3-person league will bowl for a dozen Thursdays — July 5 is an off night — at 6 p.m. starting May 10 with signups on April 26 and May 3 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Cost to sign up is $15 if sanctioned last fall, $32 if not sanctioned, and the weekly cost is $7. Scholarship funds will be paid out.
USBC certified coaches will be on hand each week to help the league’s bowlers adjust to a Blue pattern, which typically is more challenging than the typical house shot.
