Joe Alivo and Paul Bloemer defeated Andy Mills and Madison's Ken Duffield 501-411 in the title match to win the Over 40/Under 40 Doubles at Super Bowl in Appleton, tournament operator Terry Kulibert reported.

At 46 teams, the tournament just missed its 48-team limit. First was $1,500 and second $800.

The lane pattern was a USBC White pattern, and the cut took 1,749 for eight games (four for each player).

The leading qualifers were Dale Traber (1,065) and Ryan Lever (893) at 1,958.

Part of the Wisconsin Scratch Bowlers Tour, the tournament requires one bowler of a duo to be at least 40 years old. Teams are limited to one PBA player.

The format is four games of qualifying followed by one-game matches.
