Heath Haug and Shawn Mitchell slammed perfect games, and Chris Smith fired a 709 series to highlight Madison area bowling on Tuesday.
Using a new Storm CROSSROAD he had drilled on Tuesday, Haug fired his 14th career 300 in a 781 series in the Village Lanes All-Star Co-Ed Classic League.
Mitchell’s fourth career 300 came in a 760 in the Schwoegler’s Sportsmen’s League.
John Newman came up a shot shy of perfection with a 297 game in a 726 series in the Rude’s Lanes Suburban League.
Smith’s 709 in the Village Co-Ed Classic was her second supernational this season.
Rachel Zimmer was second for the women on Tuesday with a 675 in the same league, while Kami Anderson slammed a 288 game in a 649 series in the Wildcat Lanes Businessmen’s League.
Alex Shekey was second for the men with a 770 in the Schwoegler’s Elks/Moose League.
Other men’s series of 750 or higher were 764 by Eric Serfort and 758 by Kyle Edgren in the Village Co-Ed Classic; 760 by Dino Bratz, 758 by Dan Lockman and 750 by Dave Laskowski in the Bowl-A-Vard Lanes High Life Senior Masters League; and 753 by Craig Zirbel in the Schwoegler’s Sportsmen’s.
