The annual Anchor Girl Trio tournament is scheduled to return Sunday, May 20 at 9 a.m. at AMF Bowlero in Wauwatosa.
The tournament, which is organized by Dawn Behr Mariscal, features teams made up two men and a woman, or two women and a man, with a woman bowling in the anchor position.
Ths tourney is scratch, with qualifying of four games after which the field will be cut to from 10 to 20 teams, depending on entries. The maximum field is 48 teams.
The qualifiers then will bowl each of the other qualifiers in Baker format matches, plus a position round match, with 10 bonus pins for each team win. The anchor person bowls the ninth and 10th frames.
The entry fee is $60 with at least one in three times cashing. Team and individual brackets will be offered.
