Update: The weekend's format changed when a team event was added on Friday night, eliminating the Friday night qualifying squad for the Badger Elite Wisconsin Masters. In addition, the Couples Masters was eliminated.
The annual Badger Elite Wisconsin Masters events are set for Oct. 19-21 at Dale’s Weston Lanes in suburban Wausau, Dale Hackbart announced Tuesday.
The Badger Elite Wisconsin Masters, which pays $2,000 for first, will feature a qualifying shift Friday and two more Saturday, followed by the semifinals and stepladder finals.
The Women’s Masters will be on Saturday and the Couples Masters and Youth Masters on Sunday.
More details will be released later, Hackbart said.
Here is my blog on last year’s Masters events.
This will be the second year of an alliance involving Hackbart, who runs the Central Wisconsin Scratch Bowlers Tour, Dale Elliott of Weston Lanes, and the Wisconsin State Bowling Association.
“Winning any of these events is as good as winning a State (title),” Hackbart said in a message. “It’s going oing to mean a lot when bowlers are put in the State Hall of Fame.”
