Gregg Williams, Rick Erce and Dave Rasmussen all fired perfect games in supernationals to highlight Madison area bowling on Wednesday.
Williams followed his 45th career 300 with games of 279 and 237 for an 816 in the Dream Lanes All-Star Classic League.
It was his third 300 and fourth 800 this season, just one shy of Rick Thomas and Aaron Wells for the Madison Bowling Association lead in 800s.
Erce sandwiched games of 235 and 277 around his seventh career 300 for an 812 in the same league. It was Erce’s third 300 and third 800 this season.
Rasmussen followed games of 242 and 258 with his 17th career 300 for an 800 in the Bowl-A-Vard High Life Senior Masters League.
Ralph Werner fell a pin shy of perfection with a 299 game in a 708 series in the Badger Bowl Wisconsin Telephone League.
Other men’s series of 750 or higher were 761 by Neil Bogan-Schneider and 755 by Craig Wells in the Schwoegler’s Sportsmen’s League, 758 by Dave Shaw and 754 by Bud Frye in the Bowl-A-Vard Senior Masters, and 751 by Chris Reigel in the Village Lanes All-Star Co-Ed Classic League.
Kami Anderson led the women on Wednesday with a 660 in the Wildcat Lanes Businessmen’s League.
Theresa Frosch continued her hot streak and was next for the women with a 650 in the Badger Bowl Scratch League.
