Mike and Matt Meekma won the annual Adult-Youth Shootout at Badger Bowl on Saturday.
The format features adult and junior duos competing on USBC White and Blue patterns — three games each with highest total score winning. The event uses 90 percent handicap based on 220 for both adults and youth.
After the three games on a USBC White, Debra and Brianna Klocek from Fort Atkinson were leading at 1,320, with seven pins separating the top three pairs, Jim Wipperfurth of Badger Pro Shop reported.
The leaders on the USBC Blue pattern were Robert Murray and Tristen Hendler at 1,336.
Combining the two sets for the total standings, the Meekmas finished first at 2,565, earning $300.
Bob Eveland and Travis Fluckiger were second for $140 at 2,513, followed by Randy Clark and Trent Hale at 2,511 for $90, Robert Murray and Tristen Handler at 2,472 for $80, and the Kloceks at 2,467 for $70.
Travis Fluckiger led youth bowlers with 1,331, while Mike Meekma led the adult bowlers at 1,321
The adults' prize winnings were paid in the form of Visa gift cards, and the juniors won funds for their SMART accounts.
