Badger Bowl and Sugar River Lanes and their pro shops are hosting customer appreciation tournaments at 7 p.m. on May 4 and May 11, respectively.
The "Red Solo Cup" tournaments have just a $25 entry fee with handicap at 90 percent based on 220 and an eliminator format — half the field is cut after two games, another half after one more game, another half after one more game, continuing until a champion is crowned.
The Badger tournament is limited 90 entries and the Sugar River tournament to 36 entries.
The true customer appreciation part of the event is that every paid entry plus one partner gets a red solo cup to keep filled with beer or soda until a champion is crowned. (Obviously, for it to be beer you must be at least 21 years old.)
If you're choosing beer and going to try to get your customer appreciation worth, bring a non-drinking driver!
