If I was a talented young bowler trying to decide where to go to college, Webber International certainly would be a school I would check out.
I have no knowledge of its academics, but as a bowler having the amazing resources of Kegel — which is tied to the school — would be a huge factor.
Obviously, many talented young bowlers have thought that way as the Florida school's fledgling bowling program continues to pile up bowling achievements.
The latest came Friday at the 2012 United States Bowling Congress Intercollegiate Team Championships in Lincoln, Neb., where Webber made the championship matches for both men and women, USBC reported.
On Saturday, the Webber International men will face Wichita State, while the women will take on Midland. CBS Sports Network will air the women's championship match May 18 at 9 p.m. Central time, while the men's final will be shown May 25 at 9 p.m.

The men's and women's semifinals and finals of the USBC Intercollegiate Singles Championships also will be taped by CBS Sports Network on Saturday. The women's show will air May 4 at 9 p.m. and the men's show will air May 11 at 10 p.m.
