The 11th Frame: Bob Edgren slams 805 series, Kim Zimmerman fires 707, Craig Oren reaches perfection

Bob Edgren slammed an 805 series, Kim Zimmerman fired a 707 and Craig Oren rolled a perfect game to highlight Madison area bowling on Tuesday.

Edgren chained games of 257, 269 and 279 in the Dream Lanes Early League.

Zimmerman bowled games of 213, 257 and 237 in the Village Lanes All-Star Co-Ed Classic League.

Oren's first career 300 came in a 732 series in the Prairie Lanes Big Ten League.

Tom Bates fell a pin shy of perfection, with his 299 carrying him to a 714 series in the Schwoegler's Sportsmen's League.

Aaron Wells was second for men on Tuesday with a 769 in the Dream Lanes All-Star Classic League.

Other men's series of 750 or higher were 760 by Rick Erce in the Dream All-Star Classic, 758 by Matt Lajter in the Waun-A-Bowl Suburban League and Jim Ruland in the NFL League at Bowl-A-Vard Lanes, 755 by Jacob Thomas in the Ten Pin Alley Fifth Quarter League, and 751 by Rob Hano in the Schwoegler's Sportsmen's League.

Becky James was next for the women with a 668 in the Ten Pin Fifth Quarter.
