A $2,000 first prize is being guaranteed in the inaugural Badger's 9 Pin Team Challenge tournament at Badger Bowl.
The 9-pin tap team tournament for men, women and mixed teams will run March 24 through May 19.
The tournament is 100 percent handicap based on a 660 team average, with teams at 660 or over bowling scratch.
The format is four games with the lowest team game thrown out.
The entry fee is $75 per team, and one in seven teams will cash. There is an optional singles for $5, as well as prizes on the lanes that include $100 for a natural perfect game.
Multiple entry is permitted, but no more than two bowlers on the same team may cash more than once in the prize list. Multiple entry also is permitted in singles but bowlers can cash only once.
The lane pattern will be the 39-foot, low volume USBC White 3.
