Kyle Sherman’s 90 clean 2,124 all-events and a pair of near misses of the doubles lead highlighted the effort of a talented group of young players Sunday and Monday at the 2018 United States Bowling Congress Open Championships in Syracuse, N.Y. In doubles on Monday at the Oncenter, Bryan Hahlen and Ryan Stubblefield totaled 1,454 and Sherman and Ronnie Fujita 1,443 on the same pair to fall just shy of the leading 1,457 of A.J.
