Red-hot Jason Belmonte on Friday became the fifth player in PBA history to earn the top seed three tournaments in a row as he ran away from the field at the 2019 Go Bowling! PBA Indianapolis Open.
The 2-handed Australian actually lost the lead with one game to go in Friday’s day round of match play, but fired a perfect game in the final game of that round to take a 186-pin lead over Wes Malott heading into the night round, as I detailed in this story.
