Back on Jan. 27, 2019, Sean Rash lost one of the most bizarre title matches in PBA Tour history, 201-200 to Dick Allen when Rash missed a 10-pin in the 10th frame, and Allen then rolled the 2-pin, carried a mixer strike, and punched the face for a 3-6 to take the PBA Lubbock Sports Open. In perhaps a bit of cosmic evening out, trip 2-pins in the 8th and 10th frame proved decisive as Rash won the 2020 PBA Cheetah Championship title match 229-215 over E.J.
