Kyle Troup needs to win one game Sunday for his first major title and $250,000 after topping Saturday’s seeding round of the 2021 PBA Players Championship live on FloBowling from Bowlero Jupiter in southern Florida. Troup fired a 279 in the second game to take command, then hung on despite a pocket 7-10 in the third frame of his final game to edge Francois Lavoie 741-726, with Dick Allen third with 717, Tom Smallwood fourth at 709, and Anthony Simonsen fifth with 694.
