Ken Kempf edges Chad Maas to win 232-entry BOWL Major tournament at Ashwaubenon Bowling Alley

Ken Kempf edged Chad Maas 212-199 to win the 232-entry BOWL Major tournament at Ashwaubenon Bowling Alley in Ashwaubenon on Saturday. The 232-player field bowled three games of qualifying with the top 116 advancing to eliminator rounds, and two bowlers from each of the 24 pairs advancing to the next round. The field then was cut 24, 12, six and two. Maas led qualifying with 705 and the cut was 562. Kempf qualified seventh with 688. Full qualifying results are here. Over nine games...
