A week ago, Jason Belmonte’s gutsy ball change for the final frame of the 2022 PBA Players Championship turned into a strike and a win. On Sunday, Belmonte mocked himself on social media (see picture at bottom of story) after a ball and strategy change led to a trainwreck loss to Anthony Simonsen in the semifinal of the 2022 U.S. Open at Woodland Bowl in Indianapolis.
