Healthy again, Mike Nape leads Fox Bowl 1 to 3,443 at Open Championships

Last year’s United States Bowling Congress Open Championships in Baton Rouge, La. were about as big a disaster as possible for Mike Nape and his Fox Bowl 1 teammates. Struggling with knee and back injuries, Nape, an Eagle winner who came in as the tournament’s lifetime average leader, struggled to 483 in team as Fox Bowl 1 totaled 2,843 and ended with 1,639 all-events.
