7-pin costs Ronnie Sparks Jr. 800, but 793 takes singles lead at Open Championships
Only a 7-pin kept Ronnie Sparks Jr. from recording the first 800 series of the 2015 United States Bowling Congress Open Championships, but his 793 was enough to give him the lead in singles, USBC reported. And perhaps a score good enough to capture an Eagle: 795 won in 2013 and 800 in 2012 on lane patterns that were not near as flat as this year.
