Chad Nelson beat close friend Dan Bock 265-235 to win his second straight and fourth overall title of the Chippewa Valley Match Games over the weekend at Wagner’s Lanes in Eau Claire. First was $1,550 and second $950 in the 58th annual CVMG, which drew a record field of 134 bowlers. The cut to the top 24 after eight games on the Kegel challenge pattern was 1,648.
