The main storyline in the PBA50 Northern California Classic presented by MOTIV is whether Pete Weber can win his fifth straight PBA50 Tour event.
Weber took last week off as he bowled the USBC Open Championships while Amleto Monacelli won the PBA50 Fountain Valley Open, but Weber returned to fire games of 226, 279, 289, 247, 246, 254, 206 and 170 for a 1,917 total in Monday’s first round at Harvest Park Bowl in Brentwood, California.
