After Friday's opening day of matches at the Smithfield PWBA Tour Championship, the 16 competitors spent Friday night at the Richmond Flying Squirrels baseball game. The players are New Hui Fen, Liz Johnson, Cherie Tan, Bryanna Caldwell Coté, Shannon Pluhowsky, Kelly Kulick, Shannon O'Keefe, Josie Kaye Earnest, Stefanie Johnson, Maria Jose Rodriguez, Amanda Greene and Rocio Restrepo de Hostetler. Lower seeds won four of the six matches Friday as the Smithfield PWBA Tour Championship kicked off at Uptown Alley in Midlothian, Virgina, PWBA reported.
