Nate Stubler set two national records as he went on a striking binge in winning the Illinois High School Association State Tournament singles title Friday and Saturday at St. Clair Bowl in Fairview Heights, Illinois. The left-handed senior from Peru, Illinois, rolled consecutive 300 games as he fired 30 strikes in a row, and totaled 835 for three games, 1,642 for six games, and 3,116 for 12, averaging 259.6.
