If Bob Learn Jr. or Andy Neuer runs the stepladder to win the 2017 United States Bowling Congress Senior Masters on Sunday, they should get something more than the $16,000 first prize and trophy.
Doing so would mean they beat, in order, Norm Duke, Pete Weber and Walter Ray Williams Jr. twice — three of the greatest ever, which certainly would be an achievement worthy of some sort of special recognition.
