Closing with a 6-bagger, Marshall Kent completed a run up a stepladder of rising young stars of varying accomplishments with a 233-194 win over top seed E.J. Tackett to win the PBA Xtra Frame Lubbock Sports Open at South Plains Lanes in Lubbock, Texas, on Sunday. It was Kent’s third PBA Tour title, but first singles title on U.S. soil — he won the 2014 Saudi Arabia Kingdom International Open and was part of the Merica Rooster Illusion team that won the 2016 PBA Team Challenge....
