Ronnie Russell extended his lead from 54 to 75 pins over Matt O’Grady as the field was cut to the top 24 for match play Thursday afternoon at the 2018 PBA Tournament of Champions in Fairlawn, Ohio. Russell, a 4-time PBA Tour champion, rolled games of 236, 202, 225, 248, 227 and 238 for 1,376 in the third round of qualifying at AMF Riviera Lanes for a 4,166 18-game total (231.4 average).
