Defending champion Jason Belmonte is alive at the 2018 United States Bowling Congress Masters, but he faces a long road to Sunday’s stepladder finals live at noon Central time on ESPN. In his opening match Friday at the Ocenter in Syracuse, N.Y., the 2-handed Australian fell 683-673 to 2015 U.S. Open Champion Ryan Ciminelli, relegating him to the losers bracket.
