In the 2013 United States Bowling Congress Senior Masters, Lennie Boresch Jr. had a chance at the end to beat a living legend to win his first PBA50 major title. But he faltered, leaving a 3-4-6-7-10 split he could not convert in the 10th after a Brooklyn strike in the ninth, and Pete Weber struck to beat him 229-205 in a painful ending that hurt for Boresch and for the many of us who are friends with the popular “Skyn.” My story is here.
