Madison Area Bowling Association Hall of Famers Jeff Prein and Kevin Thompson made a run at the doubles lead before settling into second with 1,501 over the weekend at the 116th annual Wisconsin State Bowling Association Championships — aka the State Tournament — in the Fox Valley.
