Michael Haugen Jr. made a series of ball switches that produced pin carry that resulted in an easy win in the PBA50 Johnny Petraglia BVL Open at Farmingdale Lanes in Farmingdale, N.Y., on Tuesday. In what was a snoozefest of a stepladder finals on Xtra Frame, Marty Berke first routed Ryan Shafer 237-188, and Haugen then crushed Berke 224-170, Bob Learn Jr. 244-194, and top seed Walter Ray Williams Jr. 277-195. “It’s pretty special anytime you can beat the most prolific winner in...
