Sweden’s Jenny Wegner celebrated her 24th birthday Saturday at the 2018 United States Bowling Congress Queens by leading the top 64 into match play, USBC reported.
Wegner was second after the first two 5-game qualifying rounds at 2,337, 47 pins behind Daria Kovalova, then rolled games of 233, 248, 199, 247 and 208 for 1,135 in the third round and a 15-game total of 3,472 (231.47 average).
