Defending champion Amleto Monacelli made himself right at home at Harvest Park Bowl in Brentwood, California, on Monday. In the first round of qualifying in the PBA50 Northern California Classic presented by MOTIV, the Hall of Famer rolled games of 211, 225, 247, 278, 220, 194, 280 and 246 to total 1,901 and take a 57-pin lead over lefty and 3-time PBA50 Tour champion Hugh Miller.
