Predicting scores at the Petersen Classic is far more art than any form of science, but after competing in the tournament on Steve Orf’s St. Louis-based squad on Sunday I feel confident in saying that no one is going to approach the winning 1,691 Adam Barta posted last year. If anyone does, I want to shake their hand.
Of course, Barta’s 1,691 was the highest score at the Petersen in two decades so I’m not really going out on a limb with that prediction.
