Chris Barnes is nearly eligible for the PBA50 Tour, has endured back surgery, and hasn’t won a PBA Tour title since the 2015 DHC PBA Japan Invitational, which was before his back surgery. But he might not be done winning, as he showed Saturday in leading qualifying of the PBA Xtra Frame Lubbock Sports Open at South Plains Lanes in Lubbock, Texas. The 18-time PBA Tour champion and Hall of Famer fired games of 276, 254, 217, 235, 258, 279, 215 and 190 to total 1,942 on the PBA Scorpion 42...
