As I noted in this story after Saturday’s qualifying round of the PBA Xtra Frame Lubbock Sports Open at South Plains Lanes in Lubbock, Texas, Chris Barnes is nearly eligible for the PBA50 Tour, has endured back surgery, and hasn’t won a PBA Tour title since the 2015 DHC PBA Japan Invitational, which was before his back surgery.
