With half of qualifying completed on Friday, 4-time champions Shannon Pluhowsky and Tommy Jones totaled 3,193 to lead the 19th annual PBA-PWBA Storm Striking Against Breast Cancer Mixed Doubles — aka The Luci — at Copperfield Bowl in Houston, PBA reported in this news release.
Pluhowsky rolled 1,545 on games of 211, 204, 237, 189, 267, 211 and 226, while Jones totaled 1,648 on games of 242, 162, 254, 237, 244, 253 and 256.
