Chapman, who won the 2018 USBC Open Championships doubles Eagle with Rich Eighme, earned $400 in topping the 45-player field with 1,101 for five games.

Lefty Kyle Anderson was second with 1,079 for $320.

Other cashers were Don Breeden at 1,064 for $275, Tim Behrendt 1,062 for $235, Brent Boho 1,059 for $210, Mitch Hupe 1,058 for $190, Nick Pate 1,041 for $170, Jordan Ely 1,038 for $150, Will Mateffy and Adam Johnson 1,037 for $120 each, Michael Martell 1,034 for $90, and Clayton Mohr 1,019 for $70.

Full results are attached to the bottom of this story as a PDF.

The 45-player field averaged 187 with a high game of 269.

The Sweeper had $1,000 in added money from the Dubuque Regional Sports Commission.

The scoring pace and righty-lefty 1-2 finish hopefully indicates that Cherry Lanes general manager Bob Hochrein and Brunswick nailed it with their tweaks to the pattern used in the 11thFrame.com Open last year.

Details are in my preview story here.
