Not that they needed it, but the 2-handed haters gained another reason to hate the style on Sunday when Anthony Simonsen won the 2018 PBA Xtra Frame Gene Carter’s Pro Shop Classic throwing a back-up ball. Simonsen is not the first player to throw a back-up ball while trying his best (not fooling around or trying to make a statement), but he is the first to do it in a PBA Tour title match and win.
